The Translational Neuromodeling Unit (University of Zurich, UZH & ETH Zurich, ETHZ) (hereinafter referred to as “TNU”) welcomes you to its website.

What personal data and personal information is processed?

When you contact us via the contact form, the data exchanged between you and us is recorded, such as your name, contact details, and information about your status (healthy control participant/patient), your gender, and your date of birth.

For what purposes do we process your data?

Personal data is processed in connection with your interest in participating in a study. We process your data in connection with communication with you, particularly to respond to inquiries and to contact you if we have any questions. 

We process data for relationship management purposes, e.g. to send you information about future studies. You can reject these contacts at any time or refuse or revoke your consent to be contacted.

Who do we disclose your data to?

In general, we do not disclose your data. However, if we are legally obligated to do so, we may be required to share your data with third parties, such as government agencies, courts, and other authorities within Switzerland.

No data is stored abroad or disclosed to third parties abroad.

For how long do we process/store your data?

Your data is stored for as long as required by our processing purposes, legal retention periods, and our legitimate interests for documentation and verification purposes, or if technical reasons make storage necessary.

How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, particularly against unauthorized processing and against the risk of unauthorized access, unintentional alteration, or accidental disclosure.

What are your rights?

In connection with our data processing, you have the rights provided by law, in particular the right to:
